Synchronizing Logins

Synchronizing Logins

After any change we make to Users or User Roles within NAV 2009 SQL we must 'Synchronize' the logins afterwords so the changes are passed over to the SQL Server and in doing so are available to the relevant users Database wide.

1. Lets say we've just changed a user to have 'Super' permissions. We want this to be shared to the appropriate user.

2. We would then go to  >> Tools >> Security >> Synchronize All Logins

3. Select 'Yes'

4. This has then updated the Users permissions on the SQL Server.

Note: This is not applicable to Proprietary databases.
